The Brecon Beacons National Park located in mid-Wales in the UK spans 519 square miles (1,344 square kilometers) and comprises of 4 ranges The Black Mountains on the far East, Pen-y-fan in the middle, Fforest Fawr on the Western side (now a Geopark) home of the UK’s most spectacular waterfalls, caves and wooded gorges. and the far West is the Black Mountain. The national park is scattered with prehistoric monuments, Roman remains, and medieval castles. also on our doorstep are many great festivals and events, such as Hay Festival of literature and art, Brecon Jazz, The Royal Welsh Show.
